Last week, I visited the 38th International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS 2017) in Seoul, Korea. Together with our doctoral students, we presented a couple of research papers and received valuable feedback from several inspiring discussions.
During the last couple of weeks, we published two papers in Wirtschaftsinformatik & Management. The first one is about the development of disruptive innovation with blockchain, while the second one focuses on IT outsourcing in the digital age.
I was nominated as Associate Editor of the "Blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and new business models" track of the 39th International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS 2018). ICIS 2018 will be held in San Francisco, California, USA, December 13-16, 2018. The conference brings together information systems researchers from around the world to discuss cutting edge research.
On December 1, I gave a talk about blockchain and disruptive innovation at the it-economics Conference Day in Munich. Please find some impressions below.
I will service as program committee member of BIS 2018. The 21st International Conference on Business Information Systems will take place from July 28 to 30 in Berlin, Germany. During the 21 years of the BIS conference history, it grew as well renowned event of the scientific community. Every year it joins international researchers for scientific discussions on the development, implementation and application of business information systems, based on innovative ideas and computational intelligence methods. The conference addresses a wide scientific community and experts involved in the development of business computing applications.
