Our report "Chances and Challenges of DLT (Blockchain) in Mobility and Logistics" commissioned by the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure was published (in German with extended abstract in English). You can download the report here.

In March I gave a keynote talk about the digitalization of marketing at the 12. Effizienztag 2019 in Berlin. The overall motto of the event was “No Re-Entry 4.0 – Digital Innovation and Transformation in Market Communications”. More details and impressions from the event can be found here.

Two of our research papers have been accepted for presentation at the 27th European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS 2019). The first one entitled “Juggling the Paradoxes – Governance Mechanisms in Bimodal IT Organizations” has been co-authored by Jan Jöhnk and Severin Oesterle (University of Bayreuth) as well as Till Winkler and Jacob Nørbjerg (Copenhagen Business School) and myself. The second paper “Machine Learning Approaches along the Radiology Value Chain – Rethinking Value Propositions” is the result of a collaboration between Peter Hofmann, Severin Oesterle, Paul Rust (all University of Bayreuth) and me. ECIS 2019 will take place from June 8 to 14 in Stockholm, Sweden. It is the most prestigious conference of the European Information Systems research community.
