Our paper "Unchaining Social Businesses – Blockchain as Basic Technology of a Crowdfunding Platform", co-authored by André Schweizer, Vincent Schlatt, Gilbert Fridgen and me, has been accepted for presentation at the 38th International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS 2017).
ICIS 2017 will take place from December 10 to 13, 2018, in Seoul, Korea. The purpose of the conference is to provide a platform for academics and practitioners to identify and explore the issues, opportunities, and solutions that promote IT convergence and find new business value of information and communication technology. It is also expected to serve as the spring-board for gathering and disseminating experiences gained in implementing IT convergence to create new values in a variety of industrial settings. My article "IT-Governance im Zeitalter der Digitalisierung – Unternehmen im Spannungsfeld zwischen Flexibilität und Kontrolle" has been published in the recent issue of Spektrum Bayreuth. The article is available online at the website of the University of Bayreuth.
Our paper "Cross-Organizational Workflow Management Using Blockchain Technology – Towards Applicability, Auditability, and Automation", co-authored by Gilbert Fridgen, Sven Radszuwill, Lena Utz, and me has been accepted for presentation at the 51st Annual Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS 2018).
HICSS 2018 will take place from January 3 to 6, 2018, in Waikoloa, Big Island, Hawaii.
